- Matric
- Valid Forklift / Stacker License and experience in driving
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing a raw materials store including storage, maintenance and supply of raw material to production team, receiving finished goods from production and movement of finished goods to warehouse
- Experience to receive incoming deliveries and manage goods returned cage, arranging collections, investigating variance and non-conformances and ensuring system records accurately match the physical stock
- Valid South African Drivers License
- Computer literate on MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook
DutiesUnloading containers and other shipments received from customers/suppliers
Picking raw material stock for production based on works order requirements
Picking / Checking Interbranch Transfers in accordance with company procedures
Safely drive the delivery van or company car to transport company products, supplies and personnel safely to various destinations throughout the city and surrounding areas.
Completion of daily vehicle & equipment checklists and ensuring preventative maintenance activities are performed (including ensuring that the vehicles are clean at all times)
Loading/unloading products/supplies from vehicles
Checking of goods delivered by Suppliers/Transfers from Warehouse
Putting stock away following company procedures
Ensure that Quality Management standards are adhered to at all times
Monitor the temperature/humidity of the Stores daily
Perform daily stock counts
Manage the goods returned cage
