Job Description:
Hominum Solutions is in search of an experienced Sea Exports Controller to join a prominent freight forwarding company based in Kempton Park. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in sea export operations and must have expertise in CargoWise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sea freight export processes from initiation to completion.
- Prepare and manage all necessary export documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices).
- Liaise with shipping lines, clients, and customs officials.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and customs requirements.
- Track shipments and communicate updates to clients.
- Address and resolve any issues related to sea freight exports.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry in CargoWise.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in sea exports control.
- Proficiency in CargoWise is required.
- Strong knowledge of sea freight operations and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach.
