- Develop and implement procurement and logistics strategies to align with company goals.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14000 standards and other relevant regulations.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and manage budgets effectively.
- Establish and maintain operational frameworks to optimize efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A diploma with extensive experience will be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Procurement and Logistics Manager, preferably in the renewable energy or related sector.
- Qualifications: Completed or in-progress CIPS qualification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ISO 14000 standards is required.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
