- The roles and responsibilities for the departments under your responsibility will be company-wide, as Operations is a cross-company dynamic that affects the entire organisation.
- Responsible for the Driver, Logistics, Operations, Compliance, and Fleet departments.
The core themes associated with your role: Consolidation, Company Elevation, Solution Deployment and Advancement
- Essentially the business is growing at a rapid pace and has been building and launching projects that have been capturing the opportunities that have become available or that we have created. The projects are carefully spec’d and launched in succession, and we are moving forward with success however revisiting these is now essential in terms of consistency, quality, customer retention and increased profitability.
A key role here is to consolidate:
- Ensure project dynamics and operations are being followed,
- Evolve systems and protocols,
- Analyse for optimisations of company resources,
- Elevate the competency in the supply chain,
- Highlighting weaknesses and feeding this up the line,
- Being a live/hot-ready solutionist,
- The Operations Department is at the edge of advancement, pushing this agenda,
- Ensuring company coherence – leadership.

- 1+ years experience
Education
- Relevant Tertiary education would be advantageous
Core Roles and Responsibilities of a Mid Operations Manager and Solutionist:
- A Midlevel Operations Solutionist combines the responsibilities of overseeing daily operations with identifying and solving complex business problems, essentially reviewing how tactics intertwined to ensure the greater strategy in being achieved. This role focuses on improving efficiency, driving innovation, and raising the company level and professionalism of the workforce.

- Operational Oversight and Process Optimization:
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- The Driver Department.
- How we hire, train, retain, retrain and contract.
- Ensure processes and protocols are being followed – contracting and compliance.
- The Logistics Department
- Evolving the abilities of the Logistics Specialists (LS’s),
- Consolidation – Evolving the LS’s abilities 70%/30% split
- 70% focused on evolution/ training/ protocol and process upgrade.
- 30% New hires
Analyze and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Researching cost to company leaks.
- Fleet Department.
- Service provider engagement.
- Service and maintenance structures are being maintained.
- Leaks and wastage mitigation.
- Fleet expansion opportunities.
Logistics department
- Trips and driver performance reporting.
- Reviewing communication matrix and protocols between the Driver and Logistics Department.

- Assistance in building new structure while he manages the current work follows and LS’s needs.

- Utilize data and metrics to diagnose problems accurately and measure impact.
- The company is metric-based so creating the availability of the numbers/reporting at the right time is essential.
- Strategic Planning and Innovation:
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Walking through the Company’s top achievable 10 home runs,
- Collaborating on strategies,

- Creating clear objectives around the company vision,
- Quality and Risk Management:
