Job description: ACCOUNTANTR30 000 R38 000We are in need of an accountant at our offices outside Durbanville. We have 5 companies with their own set of books. You will be reporting to the Financial Manager, but will work mostly independently.Some of the key responsibilities:Stock reconciliation and journalsAssisting on stock takesCheck if invoices is SARS compliantMonth end journalsIntercompany invoices and calculation thereofMaintain Hire Purchases and monthly allocationCapture new assets on Hire Purchase agreementMaintain large Fixed Asset Register on a monthly basis (4 companies)Calculation of depreciation and monthly journalsOpening balance journals after auditRecon internal loan accountsRental invoicing and collection of rentAssist FM with yearly auditAccountant will be handling the full function on four smaller entitiesOther essential requirements:– Well organised and adaptable– Good communication skills telephonically or via e-mail with clients– Matric with the necessary degree– At least 5 years experience– Own reliable transport– Speak and write Afrikaans & English fluently– You might need to work overtime at month end– With your work ethic and sober habits, you will fit this teamWe are a dynamic vibrant company supplying the building industry.
