Job description:
- We are a medium sized company that manufacture concrete products.
- We have a vacancy available for an administrative and accounts position from January 2025
- This person will assist with day-to-day admin, sales, accounts and other office related duties, and also assist our general manager.
- We are based in the Killarney Gardens area
Brief description of some of the duties
- Answering phones
- Assist customers with enquiries
- Supplier orders
- General sales
- Stock updates
- Some HR related duties
- Assisting staff with PPE
- Organize company training
- Handling of pettycash
- Cashbook processing
- MUST live in the surrounds of Killarney Gardens / Table View / Parklands / Richwood / Bothasig / Edgemead / Burgandy Estate
- Must be computer literate and have 2-3 years working experience in a similar position
- Preferred candidates must have Quickbooks or similar accounting package experience
- Must have strong organizational skill
- Ability to prioritize tasks; manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure is essential, since you will often have to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, spoken and written
- Must be punctual
- Office hours are 07:30 17:00 (Monday to Friday)
- Own transport is essential, since there is no public transport to our premises
Expected salary: R8000 – 15000 per month
