From sewing intricate details to finishing hems, you will be instrumental in turning our creative designs into stunning garments.Key Responsibilities:– Cut, sew, and assemble various pieces of linen fabric to create garments according to provided patterns and specifications– Use industrial sewing machines and other tools to complete sewing tasks efficiently and accurately– Collaborate with the design team to ensure that patterns and details are correctly translated onto the fabric– Measure and fit garments on models or mannequins to ensure the perfect fit and make any necessary adjustments– Ensure that all finished garments meet Intertex Clothing’s high standards and quality control guidelines– Assist in inventory management by keeping track of fabric and supplies needed for production– Uphold a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safetyQualifications:– High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in sewing and pattern-making preferred– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fashion or textile manufacturing company– Proficient in using industrial sewing machines and other tools such as scissors, measuring tapes, and needles– Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, including reading and understanding patterns– Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment– Good time-management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team– Physical dexterity and stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks– Positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques and skillsAt Intertex Clothing, we value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
