About the Role:
In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting visually engaging marketing materials and bringing innovative design concepts to fruition. You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing team to create stunning digital and print advertisements, vibrant social media graphics, eye-catching emailers, banners, and a host of other promotional items. Your expertise will not only enhance our client’s brand presence but also drive their marketing campaigns with your distinctive design flair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually engaging marketing materials, including digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, emailers, banners, and promotional items based on internal briefs.
- Conceptualise and design in-store signage, including store windows and product graphics, for both ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) marketing elements.
- Create seasonal catalogues that effectively showcase products, ensuring a high-quality layout and presentation for both print and digital formats.
- Assist the marketing team during photoshoots and events as necessary to ensure brand consistency.
- Generate engaging content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Develop basic animations, such as GIFs and videos, from creation to editing.
- Design packaging, labels, and other ad-hoc creative elements that reflect the brand’s image.
- Inspire with fresh ideas for online and digital materials, including print shoots in our in-house studio.
- Execute design projects based on detailed briefs while adhering to brand positioning and guidelines.
- Conduct weekly research on digital and in-store competitive retail trends to stay ahead in the industry.
- Perform image retouching to enhance visual quality and meet brand standards.
- Assist with the in-house printing of marketing materials to ensure quality and consistency.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A tertiary qualification or degree in Graphic Design with 1-2 years of work experience in a corporate or agency setting.
- Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with additional knowledge of Creative Cloud suite programs advantageous.
- Experience with After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A strong understanding of digital and print design principles, including repro and layout.
- Keen attention to detail is critical.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and experience in creating corresponding collateral.
- An up-to-date awareness of key digital and industry trends.
- Ability to meet all material deadlines and manage time effectively.
