Job description: Job Summary Our client is looking for an experienced Site Construction Safety Officer to join their team. This role will entail being responsible for compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and other legal requirements (Construction Regulation and Mines Act), which includes assisting with the maintenance of systems (ISO 45001) and processes to manage risks and hazards. Main focus area will be on projects, site and regional offices. Duties include: Audits and reporting / Client engagements Verify Health and Safety requirements are carried out in all departments Ensure compliance to the ISO 45001 system in line with the SHE monitoring schedule Control and maintain SHEQ documentation Hazard identification and Risk Analysis Conduct SHE Committee meetings Coordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents and accidents – compile and submit investigation reports to the SHEQ Manager Requirements: Matric SAMTRAC SACPCMP – candidate level or preferably registered HIRA Incident Investigation Level 3 (advantageous) ASHEPP advantageous ISO 45001 Valid drivers licence 2 – 3 years experience Sound working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Experience in the construction industry Experience in manufacturing – advantageousPronel PersonnelRecruiter
Expected salary: R17500 – 20000 per month
