Job description: Job Summary Key Responsibilities: Monitor Security Systems: Continuously monitor security alerts and events from various sources (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls). Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, network intrusions, and data breaches. Threat Analysis: Analyse and assess potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Reporting: Document and report security incidents and findings to relevant stakeholders. Collaboration: Work with IT and other departments to implement security measures and improve overall security posture. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a security operations or similar role. Technical Skills: Proficiency with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS). Knowledge of network protocols and security technologies. Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
