Job description: Risk & Security Manager – Luxury Estate – Pretoria NorthWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to oversee all aspects of safety and security within our complex. The ideal candidate will excel in disciplinary procedures, investigations, risk assessments, interviews, report writing, fault-finding, risk management, intelligence gathering (MIB), and high-level VIP protection.Note:

- Lead and manage the security team to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard the premises.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security incidents, breaches, or complaints thoroughly and efficiently.
- Conduct interviews to gather information and evidence related to security matters.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports on security incidents, investigations, and findings.
- Use fault-finding skills to address any issues with security systems or weaknesses.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and hazards.
- Utilize MIB techniques to gather and analyze intelligence relevant to security operations.
- Provide high-level VIP protection as required, ensuring the safety and privacy of VIP guests.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and vigilance in all security operations.
- Perform duties with care, respect, and discretion, especially when interacting with hospitality staff and guests.
Profile
- Expertise in disciplinary procedures, investigations, assessments, and interviews.
- Strong report-writing, fault-finding, and risk management skills.
- Proficiency in MIB techniques and experience in VIP protection services.
- Familiarity with security-related laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in security management, preferably within estate or hospitality setting.
- 3 years of relevant security experience.
- Knowledge of security regulations and legislation.
- Senior certificate.
- National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management/Policing.
- PSIRA Grade A or B certification.
