Job description: Our client in the Health industry is currently looking for a Medical Receptionist, in Sandton, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Providing pricing information by answering questions.
- Meeting and greeting clients.
- Booking meetings.
- Assisting clients in finding their way around the office.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Collecting payments by accepting cash, or EFT payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
- Packing products for customers.
- Balancing cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Arranging couriers.
- Keeping the reception area tidy.
- Answering phone calls.
- Ensuring the products are delivered on time.
- Helping to interpret reports and predicting future sales.
- Shooting content.
- Pitching ideas to senior management.
- Reacting to any changes in customer demand.
- Getting feedback from customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum education level, Grade 12 /N4 (Matric)
- 2+ experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
Remuneration:
- R7 000 – R10 000 per month.
Expected salary: R7000 – 10000 per month
