Job description: Job SummaryRequirements:EducationNQF level 4/5, Matric with Maths above 60% A+ certification,Microsoft certified IT professional certification, Cisco certified network associate certification,International information systems security certification consortium certificationSkillsStrong communication skillsA working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows, online Exchange andHands on experience of installing IT hardware and softwareExperience2-4 years’ experience in IT positionGeneralExpected to be on standbyKey Responsibilities:· Work with suppliers to improve IT infrastructure· Deploy new software and upgrade existing software· Server management (DNS/DHCP/AD Services)· Manage and maintain UniFi access controllers· Support factory and warehouses in terms of all IT needs· Ensure tickets are dealt with and closed in accordance with standard operating procedure· Set up of all IT requirements as per new user form for new users· Replace computer/IT equipment in accordance with life cycle· Train users as and when needed· Conduct scheduled maintenance· Where able, do minor repairs on equipment· Obtain quotations for IT equipment and raise PO for approval· Maintain asset register· Adhere to POPI, IT policies and procedures· Liaise with service provider when required· Carry out all duties/tasks delegated by the IT Manager· Assist IT Manager with the implementation of projectsKPA’s:
- Assist users with technical problems
- Maintain a healthy IT system\
