Job description: Join a growing concern within the short term rental accommodation business. To start 1 February 2025 * Key Responsibilities of the RoleDay-to-day management of Operations:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations across all units.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Maintain high standards of quality and service across all units.
- Oversee guest relations to ensure a high level of satisfaction and address any escalated issues or complaints.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Lead and coordinate responses to operational crises or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption and effective resolution.
- Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, guest feedback, financial metrics, and other key indicators.
- Utilise data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.
- Lead and develop the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, fostering excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Work with the revenue and marketing team to provide insights and help drive pricing and revenue optimisation.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through active feedback and review management, maintaining a superior reputation.
Standard Operating Procedures:
- Draft standard job specifications for building staff members
- Train all staff members on the Company’s standard operating procedures for on-site operations (in accordance with the documented training programme)
Financial Oversight:
- Audit of the building level expenses to achieve operational cost savings
- Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure financial efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
Compliance, Risk Management and Maintenance:
- Develop and oversee an annual maintenance programme for the units and the building.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, as well as company policies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the main contact point for property owners on all operations, maintenance and guest relations queries.
- Work closely with the Head of Revenue and Head of Operations to identify enhancements and innovations to the units or building that can improve operational efficiency, improve guest satisfaction and enhance safety/risk management.
- Develop comprehensive systems for managing guest experiences from booking to post-departure.
- Work closely with the body corporate, third party building manager and third party security company to deliver a seamless experience to the guest and owners.
