Job description: This recent acquisition by one of the Capes well-known Hotel & Apartment Block Management Companies is part of the ongoing additions resulting in the substantial growth and success of apartments being converted into hotel share blocks.ProStaffSelect are in search of a guest-centric Rooms Division focused APARTMENT HOTEL GM to oversee daily operations, liaise with owners & guests, manage housekeeping, security and maintenance departments, monitor staff performance and develop a true culture of hospitality excellence and professional service.REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 7 years Front Office / Rooms Division management experience in hotels / luxury apartments,
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management / Tourism Management,
- Highly organized, well-planned, engaging and team focused individual,
- Exceptional written & verbal skills in English
- Experience in managing a variety of Front of House, Housekeeping & Back of House Property Mgt Systems, and
- Highly proficient in booking & reservations systems
- Strong admin & financial management experience
- Highly proficient in Labour Relations, HR procedures & disciplinary codes
- Must be willing to work evening & late shifts to manage the property and staff effectively
- Start date January 2025
