Job description: OPERATIONAL PROCUREMENT AND PLANNING MANAGEROverview: With operational & strategic management experience, to develop and implement effective strategies to manage sourcing, demand and supply, inventory management, Sales and Operational Planning, customs and improve profitability.Duties:Procurement.o Responsible for Packaging, Raw Materials, Finished Goods purchasing locally & internationally.o Manage Inventory levels for the company – Value & DIO to set targets.o Lead monthly inventory reviews with all stakeholders.o Lead the implementation of S&OP Process.o Monitor and review Supplier performance to agreed SLA’s quarterly / annually.o Evaluate SOS options with Regional Sourcing Group to optimise supply and local company profitability and margins.o Lead sales forecast improvement methodology & measure forecast accuracy.o Evaluate, monitor & improve order placement / buy process.o Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Sales, R&D on aligned targets.o Strategic Supplier negotiations, contract implementation & annual benchmarking.o Risk management – Identify & develop risk matrix with effective risk mitigation plans.o Track & evaluate price variations and take corrective action.Planningo Responsible for the management of Demand & Supply planning process.o Achieve & exceed OTIF target of 96%.o Collaborate with Production to ensure smooth product supply of RM and packaging.o Ensure optimum stock levels at all warehouses nationally.Imports / Customso Responsible for Imports, Clearing & Forwarding, Customs Compliance and Regulations.o C&F agents – 3rd party service providers SLA’s / KPI’sAdministration / Projects / Reportingo Lead projects to drive efficiency, process improvements & cost reduction.o Responsible for all reporting for areas of responsibility.o Lead / participate in cross functional Supply Chain projects.Organization Development / Financeo Continuous improvement/review to ensure best practices are implemented.o Monitor and meet departmental performance objectives.o To ensure achievement of budget and agreed financial targets.o Monitor & report on budget monthly and taken corrective actions on deviations.Audits / Complianceo Implement, monitor, review and improve internal controls in line with ISO.o Ensure Compliance to Procurement policies and procedures.o Manage Company internal & external audits.People managemento Review KPA’s, performance reviews & management.o Manage IR / discipline within policy and code guidelines.o Motivate, coach, train, and development direct reports to achieve operational goals.Requirements:Degree in Procurement, Finance or Supply Chain12+ years of experience in Procurement & Planning with 6+ years at Management level.Strong knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing planning, customs & supply chain managementProven leadership and team management skillsComputer literacy and proficient in working with SAP, Syspro, ClickView, Eco Time, VIP essential and Microsoft office programmes with advanced Excel skills.Preference to EE applicantsRemuneration:Negotiable up to R1m CTC
