Job description: Insurance AgentThe Insurance Agent is responsible for helping clients find and purchase the right insurance policies for their needs, including life, health, property, casualty, and other types of coverage. This role involves analyzing clients’ needs, educating them on various insurance products, and guiding them through the purchasing process. The Insurance Agent will also work on retaining clients by providing ongoing support and addressing any policy changes or claims.Key Responsibilities:1. Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs, explain available options, and recommend suitable products.2. Policy Sales: Guide clients through the insurance purchasing process, providing quotes and assisting with policy applications to close sales.3. Market Research: Stay updated on insurance industry trends, products, and competitors to offer the best solutions and remain competitive.4. Claims Assistance: Support clients with filing claims and resolving any issues related to policy benefits or coverage.5. Client Retention: Build and maintain relationships with clients by conducting regular follow-ups, addressing any concerns, and offering additional coverage as needs change.6. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all transactions and communications are recorded in compliance with company and industry regulations.7. Outreach and Networking: Actively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, and cold calling to expand the client base.Qualifications:1. Proven experience as an insurance agent, sales representative, or in a similar role.2. Strong knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry trends.3. Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.4. Customer service orientation and ability to maintain lasting relationships5. Matric Certificate
Expected salary: R7000 per month
