Salary: R 16 000 pmKey Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products.
- Perform quality checks on incoming shipments to ensure product accuracy and condition.
- Organize products efficiently within the warehouse for easy access and distribution.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate stock needs, coordinating with the team to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
- Perform occasional local deliveries, ensuring prompt and safe delivery to customers.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to safety standards within the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain records of shipments, inventory, and deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, packing, unloading, and inventory control is an advantage.
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and forklifts (forklift training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy loads on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Prior delivery experience and ability to use GPS/navigation tools are a plus.
- Experience with Sage Pastel software is a bonus.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage professionally and courteously with clients.
Expected salary: R16000 per month
