Job description: Job Purpose:
To undertake semi-skilled operations in outdoor lighting repairs.
Key Responsibility AreasKey Responsibility Areas:
- Undertake street lighting repairs duties.
- Undertake general maintenance in Lighting.
- Assist lighting Electricians with construction, refurbishing, installation and dismantling of festive decorations when required.
- Undertake painting of all types of material for festive decorations.
- Perform general administration duties including stock taking of tools used in the line of duty.
- Controls and supervises staff.
- Promote safety in the workplace.
- Remove sphere fitting along the Beachfront.

Essential RequirementsGrade 10 or equivalent.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code C1 or EC) as applicable.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Valid certification of competency in the operation of heavy plant and equipment as per the
Machinery Regulations or to be obtained within 6 months from date of appointment.
- 3 years relevant experience in the driving of heavy-duty vehicles, the operation of hydraulic
vehicle mounted cranes, towing of trailers and securing loads.
