We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cleaning product supply business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, streamlining processes, ensuring efficient logistics, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can optimize workflows, manage a dynamic team, and uphold our commitment to quality and timely service delivery.Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Plan, direct, and coordinate all supply chain and operational activities, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve workflow and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action to achieve operational excellence.Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demands while minimizing waste and overstock. Collaborate with procurement teams to source quality products at competitive prices.
Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.Logistics Coordination:
Develop and optimize delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective order fulfillment.
Manage relationships with shipping partners and negotiate favorable terms.
Address and resolve logistical challenges to maintain service continuity.Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative personnel.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Customer Service & Quality Assurance:
Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Work with the sales team to align operational activities with customer needs and business goals.Budget & Financial Oversight:
Manage operational budgets, controlling costs while achieving business targets.
Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance and financial outcomes.Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field. 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a product distribution or supply environment. Proven track record of improving processes and driving operational efficiency.Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain, and warehousing practices. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Experience in the cleaning product supply industry or similar sectors.
