Job description: As maintenance technician, you will be responsible for assisting the senior mechanic in carrying out all general repairs and service work on a variety of forklifts and other equipment as required.The duties and responsibilities of the role:Assist the senior mechanic in carrying out all maintenance and repairs to forklifts and other equipment as required.
Perform scheduled servicing of equipment in accordance with manufacturers service standards,
Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing of equipment,
Troubleshooting faults with equipment,
Liaising and communicating with other staff to maintain service records,
Complete daily jobs sheets and time sheets,To be considered for this role you will have:Experience working with machinery or motors,
Be mechanically minded and have an aptitude for practical hands on work,
A current drivers licence and forklift licence is desirable,
Exceptional communication skills,
Preferably mechanical trade qualified,
Be very well organised,
Take pride in providing outstanding customer service,
