- National Diploma: Graphic Design
- Relevant working experience
- Administration experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat)
- Print and digital design experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations and or other graphics
- Brand guidelines knowledge
- Conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
Skills required:
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work under extreme pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans (spelling and use of grammar)
Duties will include:
- Provide creative concepts and outputs
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop logo’s and other designs using Adobe Software
- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
- Getting files print ready (DTP)
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
