Job description: Our client is a leading manufacturer, converter and supplier of cellular foam, rubber and plastic film products in Africa. We are on the hunt for an experienced Sales Representative to join their team.The ideal candidate will come from a production or industrial background, accustomed to calling on a wide range of clientele – from manufacturing, mining, construction through to retail.The geographic area that will need to be covered is the South Suburbs of Cape Town.Roles and Responsibilities:
- To sell a range of manufactured and specialized products made up to customer specification so that continuous growth can be experienced in existing markets and to ensure expansion into new markets.
- Calling on customers.
- Establishing technical requirements specific to customer needs.
- Liaising with client and factory regarding W/order requirements.
- Good negotiations and communication skills.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Appropriate Sales/Marketing diploma or degree
- 2 years sales in a technical environment
- Computer literate i.e. MS office/computer (Word, excel, Syspro etc)
- Valid driver’s license is essential
- Doing additional duties as deemed necessary
