- Client Engagement: Travel daily to client sites to conduct meetings and calls, providing tailored solutions that drive their business forward.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with new and repeat customers, ensuring our brand is always top-of-mind.
- Product Education: Empower customers by educating them on the financial and operational benefits of our products and services.
- Sales Execution: Sell a range of parts, components, and aftermarket products tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and product developments to offer clients cutting-edge solutions.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Work hand-in-hand with the marketing department to amplify our brand presence across your territory.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
- 2-5 years experience in selling parts, components or aftermarket products to the construction, mining and or agricultural industry.
- Self-Motivated: Essential for driving sales and staying focused on goals without needing constant oversight.
- Customer-Centric: Prioritizes client satisfaction and delivers exceptional service, which is key to building loyalty and ensuring repeat business.
- Resilient and Tenacious: Vital for overcoming the inevitable challenges and rejections in sales, allowing the representative to stay committed and push through obstacles.
- Personable and Approachable: Builds strong, positive relationships with clients, making it easier to earn trust and foster long-term partnerships.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Shows initiative in anticipating and addressing client needs, reinforcing the representative’s value as a reliable and solutions-oriented partner.
- Product Knowledge: A strong understanding of the parts, components, and functionality of earthmoving equipment is essential. This includes knowing the benefits, limitations, and common issues of the products you’ll be selling to effectively address client needs.
- Industry-Specific Insight: Familiarity with the applications and challenges in the Construction, Mining, and Agricultural sectors enables the representative to relate to customer needs and suggest solutions that add real value.
- Computer Literate: MS Office and SAP (not a deal breaker)
