The role involves exposure to an extensive range of industrial equipment, including pumps, screens, crushers, mills, conveyors, and cranes, as well as hands-on experience with project execution in challenging and rewarding environments.POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and process engineers, to execute mining and process plant projects.
- Conduct technical assessments and contribute to the selection of equipment, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications aligned with project requirements.
- Review vendor drawings and specifications to support procurement activities.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure project milestones are met.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support seamless project delivery.
- Participate in project reviews, progress meetings, and team discussions to drive outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in
(recently graduated or within 1 year of graduation). * Previous exposure to mining, process plants, or heavy industry (
or work experience) is advantageous but not required. * Strong foundational understanding of chemical systems, process machinery, and industrial processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to work in a team-oriented environment and learn from experienced engineers.
- Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork across
locations in Africa. * Demonstrates perseverance, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.What’s on Offer:
