Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have an MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business or science
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience within the Mining industry or equivalent
- Must have broad and/or extensive knowledge in formulations in Mining as well as an understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles and their context
- Experience in a business environment, preferably B2B, with exposure to a global business culture and proficiency in using CRM tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Achieving budget sales volumes according to the established budget plan.
- Identifying business opportunities, developing plans to win those opportunities, and implementing regional sales strategies.
- Monitoring competitive activity in each account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are being formulated and communicated.
- Establishing, developing, and strengthening business relations with customers while managing strong channel relationships.
- Following up on customer payments.
- Analyzing the market, promoting new products, product lines, and innovative technologies.
- Selling in multinational regions/countries with different cultures and religions.
- Preparing a yearly business plan for the area, split into separate activities.
- Forecasting within the assigned area.
- Providing customers with the required technical information and ensuring compliance handling.
- Pricing according to directives from the Regional Market Manager.
- Participating in exhibitions and conferences and conducting seminars for customers if required.
