Job description: Social Media Marketer – Cape TownFull job descriptionIntroductionOur client, based in Cape Town, is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Social Media Marketer. This position combines managing the clients social media presence with overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. Social Media management will include developing, implementing, and managing the social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, engage the target audience, and drive growth. You will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure alignment with overall business goals. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, has a flair for content creation, and thrives in a growing, dynamic, multitasking environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management:Social Media Strategy Development:Design and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to the company’s goals.Conduct audience research to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for engagement.Content Creation and Management:Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter).Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and alignment with campaigns.Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to produce visually appealing and impactful content.Community Engagement:Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, fostering a positive online community.Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and platform updates to stay relevant.Analytics and Reporting:Track and analyse the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools.Prepare regular reports highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.Advertising Campaigns:Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to reach targeted audiences.Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.Office Administration:Oversee office operations, including managing supplies and equipment.Serve as the first point of contact for marketing related calls and emails for our online shop.Maintain organised records, schedules, and filing systems.Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.Desired Experience & QualificationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in social media management and office administration.Skills:Strong writing and communication skills for crafting compelling social media content and office correspondence.Proficiency in social media tools and MS office software.Ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and attention to detail.Creative mindset with an eye for design and branding consistency.Familiarity with basic analytics tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.Interested?If you believe you are a suitable candidate, please apply.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: R15 000,00 – R20 000,00 per month
