- Micro-Merchant Account Management: Oversee different brands in the micro-merchant division, directly managing relationships and ensuring social media aligns with the brand goals. Implement and monitor our dynamic social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals and boosts engagement across all channels
- Content Creation: Conceptualise content to meet the needs of our different brands across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Copywriting: Write engaging social media copy that connects with audiences and boosts brand presence
- Design and Production: Manage the design and production of social media content – working closely with the design team and if you have design skills or Canva skills you can jump in and help
- Content Organisation/ Planning: Manage and organise content and strategies using different documents, tools
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute monthly content plans for brands, maintaining a strategic and consistent approach across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Scheduling and Management: Schedule and publish content on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Track performance, data and refine strategies for better results
- Community Management: Respond to messages and comments on social media, fostering a positive community and enhancing audience interactions
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations based on data
- Teamwork: Collaborate with teams, sharing ideas for improvement and staying updated on industry trends. Supporting ad hoc marketing-related tasks
- Manage comms to our vendor database: SMS, push notifications and till slip messaging
- Stay up to date with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, algorithms and best practices
What you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management
- Proven experience in social media management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies that increase engagement and brand awareness
- Comprehensive knowledge and strong understanding of all major social media platforms, their best practices and analytical tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with social media tools
