Job description: Project Manager – Solar Energy – SandtonFull job descriptionQualifications and Responsibilities:· Professional Registration with SACPCMP as Pr.PM· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)· 3+ years of solar experience with managing commercial and industrial / utility projects· Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of solar PV projects, from initial planning to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget· Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance on electrical systems, designs, and installations for solar PV projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards· Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution· Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring milestones are met and costs are controlled· Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or issues· Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical engineering principles· Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills· Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in South Africa· Excellent inter-personal communication skills, experience working with contractors· Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment· Completing any tasks assigned by the COO in an efficient and timely mannerJob Type: Full-timePay: From R40 000,00 per monthExperience:solar energy: 3 years (Preferred)Application Deadline: 2024/10/25
