Job description: Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and experienced New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our sales department. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, a proven track record in vehicle sales, and the ability to drive the team to meet sales targets.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales and marketing operations of the new or pre-owned vehicle department.
- Set and achieve monthly sales targets for the team.
- Motivate, train, and manage the performance of the sales staff.
- Evaluate trade-ins, determine vehicle pricing, and manage stock effectively.
- Liaise with head office regarding sales performance and marketing strategies.
- Oversee advertising efforts to promote vehicle inventory.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager, handling both new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and ensuring profitability within the department.
- Previous experience working in a corporate-branded dealership.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers and team members.
- Valid South African driver’s license with a clear criminal record.
- Grade 12 or equivalent; tertiary education is advantageous.
- Must have experience with Audi and Volkswagen brands.
