Within Webrepublic we have launched , a brand dedicated to the world of Sports & Entertainment. RAWR is working with some of the largest brands in Sports and entertainment and we have recently been selected to support one of the largest football events in the world.For this project, we are hiring for Marketing Project Coordinator based at our regional office in Cape Town to help us deliver a large-scale campaign & marketing operation for global brands & federations. As our Marketing Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our team, providing structure and support to both client and internal teams.This role is a temporary contract running from September 2024 to September 2025. Based on your performance, you will have an opportunity to become a permanent employee of Webrepublic / RAWR at the end of this period.Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:supporting our senior Project Managers in planning and executing complex projects and campaigns that run across all our services,create tasks based on conversations with internal and external stakeholders, be responsible for their implementation within given time frames,proactively and diligently managing timelines, creating GANT charts and production schedules for all our stakeholders,creating status updates and reports and communicate those proactively both to internal and external stakeholders,updating our project management tool with all its tasks and documents on a regular basis to make sure your projects are always up to date.Qualifications and SkillsAs an ideal candidate, you must have the following:a National Diploma, Higher Certificate or Bachelor Degree from a recognised college or university with a relevant degree such as project management, business, communication or science,at least 3+ years of relevant work experience in a project management role and be familiar with project management tools such as Monday.com, ClickUp or similar,have industry experience in marketing, advertising, consulting or technology,are discrete, reliable, organised and detail-oriented,show excellent communication and interpersonal skills,have an excellent command of Google Sheets / Excel and Google Slides / Powerpoint,proficient in English (other European languages are a plus but not a must),are passionate about the world of marketing & sports,an interest in football is great plus.What we offerOn our side, we offer…a dynamic work environment fostering personal growth and development,opportunities to work on a global-scale project with world leading brands & federations,learning from Subject Matter Experts across all digital marketing disciplines,flat hierarchies and short decision paths, being part of a young, dynamic, and international team,exposure to disciplines beyond your own skill set,a vibrant office space in Cape Town and a flexible work environment (hybrid work),a very competitive compensation package.Are you Interested?We look forward to receiving your online application with a short resume.Webrepublic is an equal opportunity employer.
