We believe in a collaborative and inclusive environment where ideas flourish, and our team members thrive.Role Overview:We are looking for a Marketing & Event Executive to join our team remotely, based in Cape Town. This dynamic and hands-on role will focus on managing marketing activities and assisting with event operations for The Hampshire Business Show and Attract & Convert Expo. You will be responsible for overseeing social media management, email newsletters, and relationship management with exhibitors and visitors. Additionally, you will work closely with the team to ensure smooth event delivery and communication across all stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a passion for marketing and events, and a proactive attitude. You should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure everything runs smoothly in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to promote the events, build brand awareness, and engage with attendees and exhibitors.Email Newsletters: Create and send email campaigns to engage with potential and existing attendees and exhibitors. This includes developing content, designing visually appealing templates, and ensuring timely communication with our mailing lists.Relationship Management of Exhibitors and Visitors: Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, visitors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring they have a positive experience before, during, and after the events. Provide support and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.Liaising with Graphic Designer: Work closely with the graphic designer to create marketing assets for events, ensuring that designs align with the overall brand strategy and event goals.Communications with Exhibitors and Key Event Stakeholders: Serve as a point of contact for exhibitors and key event stakeholders, providing them with event information, updates, and support as needed.Event Administration: Assist with the day-to-day administration of event logistics, including coordination with suppliers, tracking event registrations, managing exhibitor information, and handling any other operational tasks required to support the event team.Reporting on Key Metrics: Track and report on key marketing and event metrics, such as social media engagement, email campaign performance, attendee registration, and exhibitor satisfaction.
