The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for executing marketing strategies, managing digital and print content, and overseeing social media platforms. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in systems and design work, the ability to independently manage projects, and a keen eye for brand consistency. - Grade 12
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, digital content creation, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Understanding of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with website content management systems (WordPress, Wix, or similar).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse marketing data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Skills:
- Experience in subscription-based services or home service industries.
- Background in SEO, paid advertising, and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of video editing software for basic content creation.
Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Assist the Chief Business Officer in implementing marketing plans to support business
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns for our repair plan subscribers, providing them with updates, promotions, and valuable
- Oversee the creation of newsletters, ensuring engaging and informative content is distributed to our repair plan
Content Creation & Design:
- Design and create marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, email templates, and digital
- Manage website updates, ensuring content remains fresh, engaging, and optimized for
- Develop visually appealing content for social media, aligning with brand
- Assist in developing video content for promotional use, customer education, and company
Social Media Management:
- Maintain and grow the company’s social media presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, ).
- Develop a content calendar and schedule posts that engage our
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and implement growth
- Analyse social media performance and adjust strategies Project Management:
- Take ownership of marketing projects, ensuring timelines and goals are
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute
- Track marketing performance metrics and report insights to the Chief Business
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and customer
