Job Title: Vehicle Tracking Field Installation & Service Technician

Job description: REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric, Auto Electrical qualification or previous tracking installation experience is preferable
- Valid drivers license with no defaults
- 2 5 years experience in a similar role
- Clear criminal and credit record ESSENTIAL
- Improving and maintaining company image – well groomed
- Offer excellent customer service
- Available to work overtime
DUTIES:
- Thoroughly familiar with company’s product range at all times
- Standby required for after-hours emergency call outs when necessary
- Maintaining an up-to-date technical reference manual
- Keeping your company vehicle is in a presentable condition at all times, is maintained in proper working order and is serviced at the correct intervals
- Attend meetings with Manager
- Maintain general and special tools, programming, calibration and test equipment in proper working order
- Manage work-related documentation (costing, part number and part descriptions)
- Be willing to undertake various tasks or projects given to you by the company
- Ensure that all jobs issued to you are carried out in a professional and courteous manner and that upon completion of the job all documentation is accurately completed and left in a presentable condition
- Promote relationships with all of the companys customers and suppliers that reflect trust and credibility
- Become familiar with the companies and products that are opposition, including product analysis
- Foster positive business relationships with your clients in order to promote confidence in your brand
