Job description: SALES COORDINATOR – FRUIT INDUSTRY

- Tertiary qualification or Matric with proven industry experience
- 2-3 year’s administrator/coordinator experience
- Knowledge of QX or another fruit operational system will be advantageous
- Good financial understanding of debtors will be advantageous
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy – Proven experience or knowledge of excel highly preferable
Duties:
- Processing purchase orders (PO) in the operational system by allocating and pricing stock
- Issue loading instructions to packing operations in line with the customer PO
- Working closely with in-house logistics team to ensure that orders are loaded according to PO
- Assist the sales team in tracking sales data, and generating exception reports
- Ensure timely order processing and delivery, guaranteeing exceptional customer satisfaction
- Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Retailer Reconciliation of accounts update and maintain
- Sending out availability and follow up of Sales orders with buyers
- Create invoices and statements after loading and distributing this to customers
- Follow up on payments and allocating funds received in line with agreed terms
- Update volumes shipped against those agreed and report on these both internally and externally
- Working closely with the larger sales administration team to provide support
- Timely and professional handling of customer queries
