Job description: Situated in the beautiful town of Franschhoek, this 5* property is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to manage the reservations process and
operation on the property, by coaching and motivating the team to deliver quality guest service and meet financial targets for the property. He/ she will also ensure that
the reservations/reception team adheres to policies and procedures implemented by the property, while working with the team to promote sales and upselling of all
facilities.Requirements:
- SA Citizen
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- Good understanding of revenue management
- Must have outstanding communication skills – written and spoken
- Previous experience managing a Reservations team/ department required
- Leads by example with a guest-centric approach and great attention to detail
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent computer skills, MS Office and PMS
- Innkeeper PMS experience advantageous
- Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Ideal candidate to reside in close proximity to Franschhoek
