Job description: Job Summary Our client, a leading meat wholesale supplier based in the Clayville, Olifantsfontein region is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. The successful will perform the function of a supervisor, which includes but is not limited to monitoring and supervising the production staff. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Effective management of your production department Manage daily production orders Plan daily production materials Allocate production orders to responsible worker Quality control within your department Wastage control within your process Hygiene and safety control within your department Machine and equipment upkeep and maintenance Daily production reports Staff management within your department Costing of products or batches on a daily basis Prepare daily overtime reports Product development when required Attending Management meetings Weekly or monthly stock taking Monitor and report on stock levels Meeting daily production targets Housekeeping within your production department Time vs Throughput management Leadership skills through your time management, attendance and work ethic Ensuring all department staff abide by the companys policies and procedures Ensuring all recipes and blocktests are maintained and recorded Communication of all issues with management REQUIREMENTS Matric (Grade 12) Excellent leadership/management skills Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Computer skills Time management skills Industry related experience – optional Good organizational and interpersonal skills Work well under pressure Good problem-solving skills Be able to work well in a team SALARY R15 000 per monthCardoso RecruitmentRecruiter
