Job description: Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Front of HouseLuxury Guest House – Oudtshoorn, Western CapeAn experienced Front of House is needed for this lovely Guest house situated at the foot of the Picturesque Swartberg Mountains near Oudtshoorn. Candidates from the Western Cape will be given preference.Requirements
- Matric Essential- Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality beneficial
- At least 2 years Hospitality (guest house type) experience (1-year supervisor experience) in a 4* environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Front of House operations- Reception/ front desk and check in and out procedures must be flawless
- Good understanding of Food and Beverage Operations, Reservations, Housekeeping and Admin Operations
- Sound knowledge of stock take procedures
- Excellent Customer Relations- on point for enquiries and check in/check out
- Computer Literate- Fluent in MS Office, emails and basic POS systems
- Good with Social Media- can keep tabs on online reviews and update events etc
- Excellent command of the English and Afrikaans Languages (verbal & written) (Essential)
- High level of telephone etiquette & excellent all-round communication skills
- Energetic, Fit and Healthy- Hands on, helping in every aspect
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Professional, well-groomed and responsible
- Polite and friendly- Must thrive on guest relations
- Able to trouble shoot issues and handle guest complaints with confidence
- Must have a driver’s license with own transport (PDP beneficial)
