- Matric essential
- Hospitality Management Diploma or similar will be advantageous
- At least 3-5 years of experience in hotel reservations, with specific exposure to group bookings or events.
- Experience with MICE operations in a hotel setting is highly valued.
- Familiarity with large-scale event coordination, working with corporate clients, and handling high-volume bookings.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems
- Understanding of Event Management Tools and Online Group booking systems
- Knowledge of MICE-specific strategies, pricing and event logistics
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders
- Leading a team, resolving conflicts and ensuring excellent guest service
- Managing complex group bookings and coordinating event logistics
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate group rates, event contract and service packages
- Efficiently managing multiple reservations, events and deadlines
