- Minimum 2 years experience in customer service or front of house

DUTIES
- Maintain neat and orderly front desk and reception room.
- Ensure customers receive courteous and prompt service at all times
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments and confirm all appointments, follow up visits and waiting-listed customers
- Ensure customers are booked in correctly to maintain efficient patient flow for the schedule
- Assist customers with selection of frames and other accessories
- Prepare and explain quotations, prescriptions & payment procedures to patients
- Forward and follow up on orders sent to the laboratory & any overdue jobs
- Notify customers when goods are ready for collection
- Weekly maintenance of files, checking progress & follow up with customers
- Closing and opening of the office
- Prompt and Accurate invoicing
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Medical Aid procedures, process claims accurately
- Receive payments and release goods in accordance with company policy
- Process petty cash
- Ensure outstanding accounts are followed up relevantly.
- General administration duties
- Maintain patient files and records accurately, timeously, and up to date
- Ensure all costing tariffs and prices are up to date
- Maintain stock, stationery, and other sundry items, as and when required
- Typing reports.
