Job description: Join a leading supplier of mining equipment known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and industry excellence.Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace and job-specific risk assessments, including baseline, issue-based, and continuous assessments.
- Identify SHEQ hazards, risks, and improvement opportunities and implement appropriate control measures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk control measures and recommend improvements.
- Conduct internal SHEQ audits and participate in external audits to ensure legal and industry compliance.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Safety Management (NQF Level 6) or relevant qualification in Risk Management.
- 5+ years managerial experience implementing SHEQ strategies within an FMCG, Engineering, or Mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and SHEQ compliance.
