*MUST HAVE:
** Matric
** Mechanical Trade Test
** B-Tech or Diploma – MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
- Minimum 5 Year’s MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORY experience
in a HEAVY ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Environment
- High Level of understanding of WORLD CLASS
MANUFACTURING Tools, Processes and Systems
- Ability to do Trouble Shooting
- Knowledge of All Legal requirements of the OHS Act, BCEA,
LRA & other Legal requirements
- Prepared to work OUTSIDE NORMAL WORKING HOURS &
DO STANDBY DUTIES
- Attend to Daily Operations Meetings to ensure that the 24hour
Operating window is secured
- Plan & Execute ALL BREAKDOWNS Repairs without delay
- Champion the Implementation of Proactive Maintenance
- Develop and agree on a Weekly plan with the Maintenance
Planner
- Meet with Suppliers, Contractors & 3rd Party Inspectors, when
required, therefore being Well Presentable
- Quality
- Control Maintenance Costs
- Identify Critical SPARE REQUIEREMENTS and availability
- Manage the MAINTENANCE TEAM and perform Bi-annual
performance Appraisals of Mechanical Artisans
- Clean Criminal & Credit record – will be verified
