Job description: Job SummaryResponsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to Attorneys within the Banking Law and Litigation departments
- Draft, format, and manage legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Maintain and organise case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
- Manage Attorneys’ diaries and appointments
- Liaise with third parties, including Court Officials, Sheriffs, and client staff
- Efficiently utilise legal practice management systems and platforms
- Prepare and process billing, invoices, and legal cost tracking
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Litigation Secretary in a Law firm
- Strong typing and dictation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Court Online, CaseLines, and other legal software (or willingness to learn)
- Experience working with financial institutions is advantageous
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of foreclosure, insolvency, and general litigation is highly beneficial
