Job description: A multi-disciplined law practice in South Africa that provides an array of legal services to both business and individual clients are seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware lawyer to join their growing commercial litigation team in Dunkeld. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years post-qualification experience to develop a rewarding career in a supportive and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of your commercial litigation caseload, from initial client instruction to final resolution.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare for court appearances.
Advise clients on complex commercial disputes, offering clear and strategic legal guidance.
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitrations.
Work collaboratively with senior colleagues and other members of the team.
Maintain excellent client relationships, providing clear communication and updates throughout the litigation process.Requirements:
- Admitted Attorney for at least 2 years
- A strong academic background in Law, with a particular focus on commercial law.
- Proven experience in handling commercial litigation matters.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a clear and concise writing style.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A car is essential for this role.
