Job description: The Nurture Health Group requires a dynamic individual to fill the role of Clinical Assessor, based at our physical rehabilitation facility in Beacon Bay, East London.Minimum salary: R29 793,58 Cost to company (including benefits)REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
- Allied Health Professional (HPCSA registered) or Registered Nurse (SANC registered).
- >3 years of clinical experience.
- Excellent and creative marketing skills.
- Valid drivers licence and own transport.
- Experience in other fields of rehabilitation such as management, task teams, or policy/process implementation will be an advantage.
- Experience working with ICD 10 coding advantageous.
- Experience working in the private sector around East London will be advantageous.
- Fluency in Xhosa will be advantageous.
KEY COMPETENCIES/OUTCOMES
- To be a part of the management team of a vibrant new rehabilitation facility.
- To deliver quality preventative, curative, and psychosocial therapy interventions, (based on individual qualifications) as part of the therapy team.
- To visit local hospitals and perform pre-assessment of all patients referred for physical rehabilitation.
- To engage referring specialists, both for marketing and patient referrals.
- To oversee the patient journey from acute to post-discharge through the completion of pre-admission assessments; in-hospital treatment and post-discharge follow-up.
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to the Nurture Rehabilitation system, training will be provided.
- Intentional and directed liaison with families, patients, and referring doctors to ensure values-based care is being provided.
- Advocate on behalf of the patients to ensure policies and services serve their best interests through assisting with public relations, communication, and ethical marketing.
