As the Assistant Finance Manager, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Implement and maintain processes, procedures, and controls to ensure financial integrity across the group
Manage short-term cash flow planning, including overseeing, executing, and approving all bank transactions
Handle long-term cash flow planning, including treasury management and communication with major banks regarding funding lines
Compile and review monthly internal financial reports
Oversee the review of annual financial statements and manage the audit process
Oversee financial control, review, and management of the outsourced accounting function, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the work performed
Supervise and control outsourced group secretarial functions, including all related documentation and processes
Handle SARB exchange control reporting, applications, and liaise with authorized dealers
Manage and execute currency trades.
Oversee offshore portfolio rebalancing
Provide consulting support with external advisors on tax, legal, exchange control, and accounting matters
Ensure appropriate insurance coverage for major assetsSkills & Experience:
