We are currently seeking a dynamic and professional IT Sales Agent to join our team based in Lyndhurst, Johannesburg. As an IT Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in driving sales and expanding our customer base for our comprehensive range of IT and telecommunication products and services. We pride ourselves on being authorized dealers for Panasonic, Samsung, and other renowned providers in the Telecom & IT Industry.
Minimum Requirements:
- Presentable and Professional: Must be a born South African with a presentable and professional demeanor.
- Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual with good English proficiency.
- Educational Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 is essential. A formal sales/marketing University Diploma or Degree is highly preferred.
- Sales Experience: Strong, recent sales experience specifically in IT, Telecommunication, or similar technical products and services is essential (Key requirement).
- Residency: Must reside within 25km of Lyndhurst, Johannesburg (near Balfour Park Mall).
- Transportation: Own reliable vehicle is a must.
- Personal Attributes: Must be reliable, trustworthy, and customer-oriented.
- Growth Potential: Eager and willing to grow with the company (Growth opportunity to management position).
- Employment History: Stable employment record and contactable references are required.
- Availability: Immediate start is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an IT Sales Agent, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Sales Activities: Selling IT & Telecommunication products and services for our established Telecommunication company.
- Client Visits: Travelling to clients within Gauteng to promote and sell our products and services.
- Client Sourcing & Relationship Management: Identifying and sourcing new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Team Management: Managing a small office/team effectively.
- Lead Management: Sourcing new leads and following up on leads provided by the company.
- Client Engagement: Meeting and signing up clients physically if necessary.
- Reporting: Providing daily reports on lead and task progress.
- Sales Administration: Performing administrative tasks to assist in closing sales.
- Technical Assistance: Providing basic problem-solving services, setups, and maintenance as required.
- Client Training & Support: Assisting new and existing clients with training and addressing their queries.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary Range: R15,000.00 – R30,000.00 gross basic per month, negotiable depending on relevant sales experience and qualifications.
- Commission: Additional commission on top of basic salary.
