Job description: Human Resources Manager – LanseriaFull job descriptionJob Title: HR ManagerDepartment: Human ResourcesReports To: DirectorJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within our organization. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will ensure that the company is effectively utilizing human capital and fostering a positive work environment that encourages productivity and employee satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Onboarding:Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and hiring decisions.Design and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company.Employee Relations:Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, including grievances, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes teamwork, diversity, and inclusion.Performance Management:Develop and maintain performance management systems, including setting objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing improvement plans.Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to enhance performance and career development.Policy Development & Compliance:Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy.Compensation & Benefits:Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, insurance, pension plans, and other incentives.Training & Development:Identify training needs and work with department heads to implement relevant development programs.Coordinate internal and external training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.HR Metrics & Reporting:Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports on HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.Provide insights and recommendations based on HR data analysis to improve organizational performance.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management or a related role.In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience with HR software and payroll systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.Skills & Competencies:Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.Strategic thinking with the ability to implement long-term HR initiatives.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems (HRIS).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Job Type: Full-timePay: R30 000 – R35 000 per month
