Job description: Human Resources Manager – Cape TownFull job descriptionPURPOSEThis is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.Focus on talent retention strategies to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent in the industry.Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR matters.B-BBEE | WSP | Employment Equity Compliance: Understanding and acknowledge to report on the various compliance avenuesTeam Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR and Recruitment team, Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Manage employee relations issues in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capabilityBuild strong professional relationships with Management teams and actively participate in Senior Management Team meetings.Raise awareness of current and new Employment Legislation as well as other corporate initiatives.Produce Monthly HR reports and HR statistics to Head of People.Manage all people related escalations confidentially and sensitively, including Speak up cases.Assist in ad hoc projects/initiatives on behalf of the Head of PeopleMinimum qualification:Bachelor of Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial roleBPO/ Call centre experience is preferred.Experience with handling CCMA cases to arbitration levelKey Competencies:Strong reporting skills.Up to date knowledge of Employment LawArticulate in both written and verbal communication with ability to compile PowerPoint decks for Client or internal presentations.Strong knowledge of South African labour lawsExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.Flexible approach to working hours and location.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under aggressive time frames.Demonstrated ability to be organized and detailed oriented.Attention to detail.Personal integrity and respect for confidential information.A positive, proactive thinker with an optimistic approach to delivery.High level of initiative and ability to work independently.Job Type: Full-timePay: R32 000 – R40 000 per month
