Job description: My client is looking for a Human Resources and Payroll Practitioner to ensure smooth HR processes, compliance, and employee support across our operations.This role is based in Kyalami, Johannesburg NorthKey Responsibilities: HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and systems.
- Prepare and process employment-related documents, including contracts and compliance paperwork.
- Oversee onboarding, induction, and exit processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
Transactional HR Support
- Assist with payroll processing, leave tracking, and employee benefits administration.
- Support performance management activities, including probation reviews.
- Facilitate recruitment logistics, including interview coordination and candidate communication.
Labour Law & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and procedures align with South African labour regulations.
- Advise line managers on employment laws, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Prepare documentation and support processes related to legal inquiries, conciliations, and arbitrations.
- Manage conciliations and maintain compliance-related records.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Support initiatives focused on employee engagement, wellness, and workplace culture.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Generate reports on key HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and compliance deadlines.
- Provide HR data insights to support management decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in HR administration or transactional HR roles.
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour laws (BCEA, LRA, EEA, etc.).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
